What is the Support Portal

For GPs, Practice Managers and Practice Nurses;
The following web pages provide information and access to the local group of Advocates. Advocates are experienced practitioners from the LMC and you can see their profiles and contact details. You can then decide if you wish to contact someone, and if so whom.

To avoid missed support portal replies please add support-portal@somersetsafehouse.co.uk to your safe senders email addresses list & check your spam folder for emails.

Confidentiality & Anonymity

This service is provided with a complete awareness of the need for confidentiality, the portal is password protected and the data encrypted. We take this issue very seriously – within the portal there is a facility to exchange messages with an Advocate. Unless you mention your name, the Advocate cannot identify you. You can use an anonymous username, however your chosen email will be used to send and receive messages to your inbox as well as via the messaging portal.

We feel this is vital because of the great sensitivity of some of the challenges that GPs and general practice staff experience.

This can be anonymous if you wish. This LMC funded service supports anyone working in primary care in Somerset who is experiencing challenges in their professional life.
